Surgeon in Cambridge, licensed to practise there in 1513; little else has been traced of his background or career.
Books
Thomas's probate inventory includes 58 titles, in 94 volumes, valued at £2 14s 6d (from a total estate valued at ca.£38). The books are mostly in Latin with a little Greek and Hebrew, covering medicine, theology, classics, law and some other topics. The books were mostly stored in an upper chamber in his house.
