Mary DORMER, Countess of Carnarvon 1655-1709
Biographical Note
Daughter of Montagu Bertie, 2nd Earl of Lindsay. She married, as his second wife, Charles Dormer, 2nd Earl of Carnarvon; they had no children.
Books
A number of books survive using one of several 'MC' coronetted binding stamps. She also used an engraved armorial bookplate (Franks *42); the extent and disposition of her library are not known.
