Biographical Note
Son of Richard Boss, Vicar of Sevenoaks, Kent. BA Trinity College, Cambridge 1659, MA 1662. Vicar of Sevenoaks 1664-78.
Books
Bosse bequeathed his library, together with his notebooks and sermon notes, to be divided between his two eldest sons Richard and Thomas, assuming that they took degrees and entered the ministry; if only one did, he was to receive the whole library, and if neither did, the library was to be sold and the proceeds divided among all his children. The library of books, in the study, was valued at £73 13s 4d.
