Books

Parsons' library was auctioned in London, beginning 30 November 1682. The sale catalogue lists 918 lots, divided between law books (344 lots), dictionaries (6), and English ‘history, political, humanity, etc’ (568); the library is noteworthy, for its size and period, for the absence of theological/devotional works, while other subjects are widely covered.
