Sir John COLLADON 1608-1675
Biographical Note
Geneva-born physician. Employed by the physician Sir Theodore de Mayerne, Colladon became physician to Charles I. His books were auctioned in London, 2.2.1713 (joint sale, with those of Sir Theodore de Mayerne and his son, Sir Theodore, also a physician). Many of de Mayerne's manuscripts and papers are in the Royal College of Physicians, the British Library, and Cambridge University Library.
