Biographical Note
Son of Christopher Green, of Cambridge. BA Pembroke College, Cambridge 1648, fellow 1650, MA 1651, held several college offices including reader in philosophy. He was ejected in 1662 and his subsequent career is not recorded; he died in Stansted, Hertfordshire.
Books
Green bequeathed either £10 or £10 worth of his books to Pembroke, according to their preference; there is no record of Green in the Library benefactors' book, suggesting that the money was chosen. His will has no other mention of books, and the extent of his library is not known.
