Biographical Note
Son of Anthony Lybbe of Whitchurch, Oxfordshire, gentleman. BCL St John’s College, Oxford 1669. Rector of Checkenden, Oxfordshire.

Lybbe’s library was auctioned in Oxford, 24.3.1707 (joint sale, with Richard Duckworth; no catalogue survives).
