Ellerker Bradshaw 1680-1742
Ellerker BRADSHAW 1680-1742
Son of Sir James Bradshaw of Risby, Yorkshire. Little is recorded of him except that he was MP for Beverley 1727-41; his first return to Parliament was overturned for electoral corruption, but he subsequently secured the seat.
Bradshaw used an engraved armorial bookplate (Franks 3485); the extent and disposition of his library are not known.
