Biographical Note

Physician and fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.

Books

Leigh's books were sold at auction in London on 29 February 1720. Advertisements in the Post Boy describe the sale's contents as 'a very curious Collection of Books of History, Mathematicks, Natural Philosophy, Physick, Surgery, &c. in Greek, Latin, Italian, French, English and the Oriental Tongues; with one of the best Collections of Musick (by the most celebrated Masters in the World) that was ever offer'd to Sale'.
