Francis NICHOLLS b.1658/9

Biographical Note

Son of Francis Nicholls of London, gentleman (who was possibly the barrister Francis Nicholls of the Middle Temple and of Treharne, Cornwall). Matriculated at Exeter College, Oxford in 1676. Assumed to be related to William Nicholls.

Books

He used an engraved armorial bookplate: Franks 21809 (‘Frank. Nicholls. Coll. Exon. Oxon’). The content and the disposition of his library are not established.
