George ANTON ca.1550-ca.1615?

Biographical Note

Second son of Thomas Anton (d.1559) of Strathfieldsaye, Anton was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1575. He served as MP for, and in 1587 was elected Recorder of Lincoln.

Books

Anton gave manuscripts to Lincoln’s Inn; books survive with his armorial stamp.
