Biographical Note
Henry Crawford was baptised in Dundee, 25 December 1682, the son of Henry Crawford and Isobel Navoy. He styled himself 'of Monorgan' (Perth and Kinross). His eldest son (born 1721) was also named Henry Crawford.

Used an engraved bookplate (Franks 7285) 'Crawford, Henry, of Monorgan, Esqr.'
The extent and disposition of his library is not known.
