Son of Henry Parkhurst, rector of Norton, Kent. BA Corpus Christi College, Oxford 1671, MA 1675, BD 1683, DD 1695.

Parkhurst's library was auctioned in Oxford, 29.10.1706, as part of a joint sale with the books of Thomas Bayley.
