John COOTH 1593?-1661

Biographical Note

Of Yetminster, Dorset, son of Richard Cooth. BA New College, Oxford 1616, MA 1620. Rector of Shepton Mallet, Somerset 1621-45, of Corton Denham 1630 (sequestered 1645, order to be restored 1647); prebendary of Sarum 1621, of Wells 1623.
