John GOVAN ca.1655-1729

Biographical Note

Probably to be identified as John Govan, minister at Campsie (ca. 1655–1729). His death is recorded by Wodrow's Analecta: ‘September 18. — Upon the 18th, Mr John Govan, Minister at Campsie since the Revolution, dyed. He was turned seventy, unmarried’.
