John PARSONS b.1715/6

Biographical Note

Son of Sir William Parsons, 3rd baronet, of Langley, Buckinghamshire and Holborn, London. BA Merton College, Oxford 1735, MA 1739; no further details of his career have been traced, but Foster notes that he "died young".

Books

Parsons used an engraved armorial bookplate, made when he was at Merton (Franks 22824); the extent and disposition of his library are not known.
