Sir John PAULET b.1576

Biographical Note

Lawyer, illegitimate son of William Paulet, 3rd Marquis of Winchester (d.1598). Biographical information is scanty but he is recorded in a 1634 heraldic visitation of Hampshire as being of Hyde Street near Winchester, the second of his father's sons with Jane Lambert. According to the Armorials Database he was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford and became a member of the Middle Temple.
