Biographical Note

Archbishop of York.

Books

Purchased a library of ca.1700 books to give to Westminster Abbey, 1623; funded the rebuilding of the Library at St John’s College, Cambridge in the 1620s, and gave money and books there. Various manuscript lists of his books and donations at St John’s.
