John WOODHOUSE d.1723

Biographical Note

The owner of the books described below has not been identified, but may be the Dr John Woodhouse of Berkhampstead who died in 1723.

Books

Woodhouse's books were sold by retail sale in London from 15 June 1727 alongside those of a Walter Richards, possibly the Walter Richards who died in 1723. Advertisements in the Daily Journal, Daily Post and Daily Courant describe the sale as "consisting of a valuable collection of books in most sciences, faculties, and languages".
