Jordan TANCRED or TANCKRED -1703

Biographical Note

Son of Charles Tancred of Arden, Yorkshire, gentleman. BA Christ Church, Oxford 1685, MA 1687. Rector of Ackworth, Yorkshire 1693, of Barwick in Elmet, 1695.

Books

Tancred used an engraved armorial bookplate dated 1701 (Franks 28876).
