The library of "the learned Ralph Murray, Esq., deceas'd" was auctioned in London in two parts, 26.3.1716, 2.5.1716; the owner has not been traced. No catalogue survives for the second part, while the first part was a joint sale with "the stock of a bookseller, who has left off his trade"; both parts were advertised in the Daily Courant.
