Biographical Note

Son of Abel Hodges, rector of Tharston, Norfolk. BA Pembroke College, Cambridge 1701, fellow 1703, MA 1704, BD 1711. Curate of Saxstead, Suffolk 1704, vicar of Darenth, Kent 1712, rector of St Mary Hoo, Kent 1719.

Books

Hodges used an engraved armorial bookplate (Franks 14941); the extent and disposition of his library is not known.
