Robert MOORE d.1704

Biographical Note

Born at Nottingham. Matriculated at Clare College, Cambridge 1646, but did not graduate. Curate at Brampton, Derbyshire in 1662, when he was ejected. Licensed to preach as a Presbyterian, 1672 and appears to have spent the rest of his life ministering in and around Derby; he was briefly imprisoned during Monmouth’s rebellion in 1685.
