====Biographical Note====
Son of [[family::Samuel Nash]] of [[location::London]]. BA [[education::Wadham College, Oxford]] 1711, [[occupation::fellow of Wadham College, Oxford|fellow]] 1715, BCL 1731, MA 1734. He became [[occupation::chancellor]] of [[dioceses::Norwich]] in 1732 and assisted [[associates::Francis Blomefield]] in the compilation of his ''History of Norfolk''.

====Books====
Nash used two engraved armorial bookplates, the first probably made in the early 1730s (Franks 21572), the second a decade or so later (Franks 21573). The extent of his library is not known; in his will, he bequeathed all his [[subject::law]] books, "whereof he hath no duplicates in his won study", to [[associates::William Baker]] of Norwich Cathedral. The rest of his books were to be divided equally between his four sisters.
