Robert STEWART, 5th laird of Ardvorlich, 1681-1751
Biographical Note
Son of James Stewart, 4th laird of Ardvorlich (1655-1698), he was born in Stirling. His mother was Elisabeth Buchanan.

Used an engraved bookplate (Franks 28135): Stewart of Ardvorlich. Ao. 1726. (Arms. Stewart quartering Buchanan.)
The extent and disposition of his library is not known.
