Sir Robert VINER or VYNER 1631-1688

Armorial stamp of Sir Robert Viner (British Armorial Bindings).

Biographical Note

Born in Warwick; son of William Vyner. Apprenticed to his father's half-brother Thomas Vyner (1588–1665), a goldsmith and banker, in 1646. He became the king's goldsmith after the Restoration.

Books
