Thomas THORNTON ca.1541-1629
Biographical Note
Canon of Christ Church, Oxford; canon of Hereford Cathedral and custos of the Cathedral Library 1595-7, 1610-17. Reformed and remodelled the Library, partly at his own expense; bequeathed books to Hereford.
