Biographical Note

BA Trinity College, Cambridge 1573/4, fellow 1576, and MA 1577.


Aunger's probate inventory includes over 45 books, valued at £8 10s 6d (from a total estate valued at £25 15s 8d). The books are mostly in Latin, with some English and Greek. The books are predominantly theological in nature, alongside some philosophy, grammar and lexicography. The full inventory is edited as Leedham-Green no.165 (see full citation below).
