The catalogue summarises the sale as 'a Choice Collection of very Ancient and Valuable Books, in most Languages and Faculties, chiefly Physick, Chirurgery, Chemistry; Divinity, Philology, History, in Greek, Latin, Spanish, Italian, French, and English'.
