William HODGES 1668?-1702

Biographical Note

Son of Thomas Hodges of Shipton, Gloucestershire. BA Brasenose College, Oxford 1685, MA 1688. Rector of St Swithin, London; canon of Wells Cathedral, 1695.

Hodges’s library was auctioned in London, 23.2.1703 (1594 lots, plus a further 718 “libri omissi” which may or may not have been his).
