William KERSTEMAN d.1790

Books

Kersteman has been traced only from his will, in which he refers to himself as "late of London, merchant, but not of Colchester". He used an engraved armorial bookplate (Franks 17107). The extent of his library is not known; there is no mention of books in his will, but they may have been added to his "plate linnen china ware ... and furniture" which was to be divided between his four children.
