Son of John Gibson of Oxford, doctor. BA Pembroke College, Oxford 1738, BCL All Souls College 1743; his subsequent career has not been traced.
Books
Gibson used an engraved armorial bookplate, made when he was at All Souls (Franks 11855); the extent and disposition of his library is not known.
