William REEVES ca.1667-1726

Biographical Note

Born in Flitwick, Bedfordshire, son of William Reeves. Studied at Eton before matriculating at King's College, Cambridge. Ba 1668/9, MA 1692, fellow 1688. Rector of Cranfod, Middlesex from 1694, vicar of St Mary's Reading from 1711 and made chaplain to Queen Anne the same year.

Books

Reeves' will makes no mention of his books, which were sold by retail sale in London from 12 December 1726 alongside those of John Thornicroft. The sale was advertised in the Daily Post.
